Metro City Indoor Soccer Arena

The u12g Fire lit up the Season last night at Metro City in the U12A girls league championship game against crosstown rival Fair Oaks Storm. With the decisive 4-1 lockdown, the girls from Folsom finished their flawless indoor season 6-0 with a goal ratio of 39:10.

If that wasn't enough to melt the winter frost, the FSC Fire U12 girls are headed to the NorCal State Cup Finals in January against U12 FC Diablo after a brutal semi-final bout against the U12 Delta Xplosion this past weekend. After two regulation 35 minute halves, two 5 minute "sudden death" overtime periods and some of the most physical play the girls have encountered all season resulting in 2 injured Fire players, the game was still tied 2-2. The game would have to be decided with a heart-stopping round of penalty kicks.

The girls didn't blink an eye before pouring on the gasoline and detonating the Xplosion's championship hopes by finishing off the P.K. round 4-3.
