The Folsom Freedom 10U fast pitch team took 1st place in the 2009 Greater Sacramento Softball Association (GSSA) Championships held June 27-28th in Folsom. This talented group of players had a 6-0 record in the tournament and earned a seed to play in the ASA Western Nationals in Salem, Oregon in late July. This big win came on the heels of another 1st place victory in the Stars of Cordova tournament two weeks ago! Congratulations Folsom Freedom!

The team is managed by Gary Parks and coached by Sham Sidhu, Ed Fenton, and Mike St Dennis. Players are Jenna Parks, Emilee Jones, Lindsey Fenton, Morgan Hawkins, Sarah Curtis, Katina Vail, Sam Selenis, Sydney Edwards, Grace Adams, Taylor Grego, Jenny Badger, Emily St Dennis, Cherise Silvan, and Cassidy Sidhu.
