Superwomen Boot Camp’s Val Fujii Proud to Announce Unique Fundraising Event For Local Resident
Folsom fitness expert and owner of Superwomen Boot Camp Val Fujii is proud to announce that they will be sponsoring local resident and boot camper Julie Martelli, in support of her efforts to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and her goal of participating in the San Diego Rock ‘N Roll Half Marathon in June. To help her get there, Superwomen Boot Camp will be holding a unique fundraising event.
“I heard about a book called The Game On! Diet and thought it might be a fun way to help raise money for Julie and her cause, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society”, Fujii says. “The Game On! Diet was developed as a way to turn the process of getting mentally and physically fit into a fun, fierce, wildly competitive game, while at the same time bringing people together to gets results - whether a person wants to lose pounds, tone up or just change an unhealthy lifestyle.”
Here’s how it will work:
1. We will put together teams who will be competing against each other. 2. A point system will be used for the game, with points gained and lost for: healthy and unhealthy meals, water consumption, sleep, exercise, integration of new good habits – such as meditation and reading, elimination of bad habits – such as television and computer games. 3. We will have three game cycles with each game cycle lasting four weeks. There will be a winning team each cycle with prizes being given at the end of each cycle, as well as a grand prize at the end of the third cycle.
Whatever your fitness or life goals are, join in on a fun and revolutionary approach to health and fitness, while contributing to a great cause. The game begins on Friday, March 12th and the cost to play is only $30, with all proceeds benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. For more information on how The Game On!
