Here are some more birds.

The first is a female Lesser Finch making due with some seeds from some star thistle. Then an juvenile Starling sitting on the fence. An Common Moorhen with a couple of young hanging around. Another common site in the wetlands is a Black Phoebe looking for a bug for breakfast.

Then we have a common site walking down the busy streets of Folsom. A female turkey.

These turkeys are not native to California. They were part of an exchange between the Texas and California Departments of Fish and Game. California gave Texas pheasants and California got the turkeys. A flock was released at Beal Air Force Base and the rest is history.

We end with a, I believe, Bull Thistle with a bee doing what bees do.
