When a comparison of states is made in relation to their economies and their deficits, a fact becomes undeniably clear. "Red" states have greater economic integrity with balanced budgets or the lowest shortfalls.

Additionally, these same states have the lowest unemployment and foreclosure rates, along with fewer social entitlement programs.

Ironically, the majority of these states are located in either the agricultural or bible belts, or both. They are rapidly becoming home to industries that are fleeing inland from the East and West coasts.
