Free decor one-on-one sessions Feb. 11 & 12 at new Kirkland's home store, Palladio Center
Sacramento home stager and décor expert Cheryl Deagon is coming to Palladio Center's new Kirkland's store to give one-on-one home décor advice next weekend.
The idea is to make one blah room of your home zing. And, it's free.
On Feb. 11 and 12 from 1-4 p.m., Deagon is offering free consultations. Just bring a couple of pictures of the room at your house where you need the most help and tell her to bring new life to it. She’ll spend about 10 minutes per person, at the new Kirkland’s décor store at Palladio Center, 260 Palladio Parkway in Folsom.
That means clutter control, object placement and overall evaluation of color, size and texture. Show the problem spot in your photos, and she'll help fix it. Dimensions of the space are very helpful.
Also, Deagon can give ideas for a Valentine's Day setting for your dining room or kitchen that's romantic or simply fun for your family.
It’s all free and she’s volunteering her time as the guest designer those two days for Kirkland's grand opening.
This will be the first Kirkland's home decor store in Sacramento. The store, based in Nashville, Tenn., has more than 300 locations nationwide. Kirkland's specializes in value-minded home decor, from accent furniture to vases, lamps, wall art, mirrors and decorative pillows and throws. The website www.Kirklands.com has more information.
The normal price of a consultation like this is in the $200 range with a home stager or decorator.
Cheryl has Arranging Places in Sacramento. Details are at www.ArrangingPlaces.com.
